Megawhaitsia is an extinct genus of large therapsid, potentially a therocephalian. It lived in the Late Permian in East Russia, and is known only by a maxilla, with a skull estimated to be 40–50 cm.

Abstract
The first representative of the family Whaitsiidae, Megawhaitsia patrichae gen. et sp. nov., from the terminal Permian of eastern Europe is described. This is a very large predator that appeared in the Vyazniki Tetrapod Assemblage in conditions of large predatory biomorph deficiency.
