I am not against hunting for food, since predators hunt their prey all the time in nature. I actually think it's understandable to be against farms and supermarkets (since no other predator domesticates their prey and slaughters them in factories), but I really don't see any moral reason why hunting is bad. Predators hunt all the time; it's a natural part of life.

However, I only think hunting for food is okay. Hunting for money, clothing, or pleasure is bad. And of course, endangered species should never be hunted at all, no matter what.

From an animal rights perspective, hunting is perfectly fine (in my opinion). I think animal rights activists should focus more on improving living conditions for animals in farms.
animals that kill other animals to eat them do so because they can not eat anything other than meat. people can eat something else, but people prefer to kill animals for food. why?
Taste.....people are brought up on meat.....stop that and then people wont see the need to eat it.

New research has shown that people do not need to eat meat to live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05zhL1YUd8Q
I do! lol I love meat, and don't you dare take it away from me! Meat has protein and iron, which are good for you, but yes I suppose that study is true. Oh how boring and tasteless life would be without meat. :'(
Why not try to eat people, tastes like chicken
So you want me to eat you then? I value humans more than animals, but I'm under the belief that animals should be respected, taken care of, and cherished, but not nearly to the level a human should receive. Humans are under the responsobility of taking care of the earth and its inhabitants, that being the animals, so by overexcessive killing, polluting, and destroying of habitats, we are not taking care or properly maintaining the earth. But I believe humans are more important than animals, so that means that I value you more than an animal. You have great worth and value, as does every human being on the face of the earth.
Stops bullshit like that man is superior to the other animals.Posted Image

Some people in third world countries only have meat as an option, killing animals for survival. You have to be grateful for what you get. Either way eating raised animals in my opinion is completely fine and natural- we will always keep doing it and there is nothing anyone here can do to stop it so there is no point discussing it anymore. I would help one starving, homeless child any day over 1,000 animals and even more. All the poor children in Africa don't deserve to be in the conditions they are in, I would concentrate on people and not animals at this rate. Well, I could help both, but if I only had time for one, then it would most certainly be children, your fellow human beings, and your fellow man. Animals are not dumb though, I can't stand when people say that. We still should not mistreat or abuse animals or the enviroment, but take good care of it, maintain the populations and help keep the ecosystems polution free, but if people are in dire trouble, you know which I would help first.

I will gladly help a child in need but also help an animal. Can not choose

I find it funny how some people state that humans eating meat is unnatural, yet pretty much all nomadic, tribal peoples, both ancient and modern, are avid hunters. I'd invite anyone advocating such a view to spend some time with or at least watch videos on people like the Khoisan or the Korowai.

I've said this before, and I know your views stem from your religion, but I think it is morally disgusting to value a single person over 1,000 non-humans. No single person is worth that much to me by any means.

If someone gave me the choice to save a child with cancer or save 1,000 dolphins or wolves or whatever I would 100% of the time choose the dolphins/wolves/etc.

Also yeah, saying you value humans over animals is like saying you value tigers over animals. We're just one animal, albeit a very intelligent one.

A diatribe on the ego of man, i enjoyed reading this! My 2cents is, if you killed it with your body and nothing else you have the right to do as you see fit with the remains. If you used a high powered gun to do it and brag like you've completed some Adonis-like task, you're a sad man that most likely possesses abnormally small genitalia
