Probably Komodo Dragons, Green Anacondas, Blood Pythons, Perentines, Black Caiman, Nile Crocodile, Snapping Turtles, and Alligator Snapping Turtles. The more I learn about them, the more impressed I am.

Pliosaurs, Nile and saltwater crocs, alligator snapping turtle, monitor lizards (somehow not the komodo, it's just annoyingly overhyped and a big fat sluggish idiot that could never coexist with serious mammalian predators), biarmusuchus, the basilisk, and my daughter's pet "stink the skink" who lives in our rumpus room.
That's about it, I'm really not crazy about reptiles.

Still can't pick one, but the american alligator, argus monitor, and the ora are all some of my personal favorites as i've studied them more frequently this year. I love all sorts of reptiles, i get giddy about it

Ugh... picking favorites of anything has never been my strong suit, especially when Reptilia is my favorite category of animals, (Amphibians tied). Let's just go by categories:
Snakes: anacondas, sea snakes, file snakes, tentacled snake (I generally like aquatic creatures),rubber boas are adorable, and bush vipers are just stunningly beautiful.
Lizards: monitors, tegus, legless lizards, alligator lizards, Gilas, geckos (especially days), skink, Mosasaurs.
Other squamates: amphisbaenians especially the ajolote!!! :D
Turtles: Snake necked turtles and snapping turtles.
Crocs and kin: Salties and alligators, "rauisuchians".
Dinosaurs: Tyrannosaurs hands down, though Abelisaurs, Spinosaurs and Acrocanthosaurus are also awesome.
Others: Pliosaurs, Anteosaurs and gorgonopsids. (Note: I've always considered equating Reptilia with Sauropsida, thus excluding Synapsida rather arbitrary and nonsensical, I've always thought of Amniota equating to Reptilia far more parsimonious. So don't get on my back about those anteosaurs and gorgonopsids on my list.)

Lmao, Komodos are respectable animals in both Stamina and Intelligence compared to other Monitor Lizards.

My favorite extinct reptile is probably Arizonasaurus (Hey, you didn't say we couldn't use rauisuchians) for unknown reasons. It just seems kinda cool and shtuff.
