Tell me what can do a wolf against a tiger? Wolves just may avoid them to sourvive at least in winter, where snow allows tigers catch wolves easier. And wolves have never seen a tiger before, and they dont know what can they do... and probabily they arent enough cautious Edited by Nordred, Mar 29 2015, 06:30 AM.

Is that an actual tiger kill? I know tigers do prey on wolves in the far east, but I've never seen any photographic documentation of it. |

![]() Tiger predation on wolves is not uncommon, as Tigers would eat anything including leopards, lynx and other predators, but I've read that Tigers hunt wolves to the point result in few wolves in south eastern russia. during the winter wolves hunt in packs, but that doesn't mean much to a tiger |

But is that picture you posted an actual wolf that has been killed by a tiger? Because it would be a first to have this event recorded on a video or photographic format. |

This is what I found Scientists are watching carefully the nature reserve Hinganskogo and tigress Ilona, striped cat recently released from the rehabilitation center. To learn how to live in the taiga, Ilona specialists observe it by using cameratrap. The Tigers often posing before cameras, this time something went wrong. After a hearty dinner, cat blew off from the tree one of the cameras. Ilona threw the remains of camera on snowmobile trail next to the academic hospital. A memory card with photos of Tigress scientists haven't been found. For the past three weeks, she ate 5 boars and 1 wolf. Completely eaten was only one pig and a wolf. Ilona eat up no more than one third. Oddly, adult wild boars, are not afraid of "Queen of the forest". None of the herd after the attacks the Tigresses has resigned from his plot, told in the reserve. The source : http://www.dv.kp.ru/online/news/1951313/ Not sure if its 100% translated well though |

How is possible a tiger can hunt a brown bear bigger than him? If a battle must dure more than 1 hour... i dont think that tiger will risk to be injured in a battle agaisnt a bear. Edited by Nordred, Mar 30 2015, 06:32 AM.
