Who in your opinion is the most impressive Reptilian fighter.
Use the most impressive of species out of each group (which is subjective so il let you decide which is most impressive). All are at size parity. Fight takes place in a very hot grassland with a River in close proximity, for aquatic battles. All Animals are very hungry and see each other as prey. I made venemous Snakes and Constricting Snakes diffrent options as their fighting style is completely diffrent.

Yeah I agree 100% about Tortises, but dont sell Turtles short. Alligator Snappers are a preety formidable Animal overall, even at parity.

I think Komodo Dragon fights can be pretty intense

Alligator snappers are impressive animals but they lack the mobility of the other large reptiles such as the ora or a crocodilian. They sure know how to take advantage of an unaware animal though

@ Arcodus fatalis, they are indeed, Auffenberg wrote that intraspecific conflicts lead to severe maiming and death on some occasions.

I dont see any one Animal here beating all the Animals a majority of the time. I guess a venemous snake or a crocodile would have the best shot at it.

A crocodilian or a varanid. The former with armor,a heavy built and extremely strong jaws and the latter with ziphodont,blade-like dentition and venom.

I'd say the crocodilians would take it.

Constrictors tend to beat Crocodilians and Varanids at similar sizes. But I cant see a Constrictor killing a similarily sized Turtle or Tortise.

Venomous snakes tend to be miserable fighters against anything that is resilient to their venom. I'd go with constrictors; they're the only ones that have any kind of track record overpowering and killing other animals heavier than themselves, even if it is strictly defensive

But Venomous Snakes have killed Elephants, Rhinos, Tigers, Lions, Bears, Bison, Dogs, Leopards etc etc etc with their venom.....

No Constrictor Snake has ever come even close to killing any of those animals through the brute strength that they possess....Venomous Snakes have been legitimately documented (not phony urban myths or hearsay accounts from the 1800s) killing Elephants, Rhinos, Bears, Lions, Tigers, Buffalo, Bison etc etc etc.....

I'm assuming you didn't actually mean to say no constrictor has ever come close to killing a dog before.

But of course they haven't killed elephants and stuff, but thats irrelevant because elephants are so huge.

That's like saying mustelids aren't impressive because they can't kill buffalo, or that tigers aren't impressive because they've never killed whales.

Some venomous snakes do better with some groups of animals than others, it varies.

On the constricting snake/dog thing, some species absolutely love to eat sympatric wild canids as well as the domestic variety. Indian pythons for example are major predators of the golden jackal.
