Some venomous snakes do better with some groups of animals than others, it varies.

On the constricting snake/dog thing, some species absolutely love to eat sympatric wild canids as well as the domestic variety. Indian pythons for example are major predators of the golden jackal.
I do belive I would favour a King Cobra against most Constrictors in terms of parity. Their intelligence and specilization of Snakes im sure would be horryfying to most Reptiles.

I'm sure a lot of ophiophagous venomous snakes would be more than a match for a similarly sized constrictor depending on how potent their venom is.

Just watched a doc on King Cobras, they even cannibalize each other. I think I would back a King against most if not all other Snakes tbh. They handle Bengal Monitors fine, so I assume they can deal with similarly sized Monitors. Turtles and Tortises would get out manuvered and killed fairly easily. Thought I doubt King Cobras can handle a similarly sized Crocodilian.
