No they are not. They are just slaughtering frightened cattle, about which they trying to create aura of dangerousness. And they do it in the rate 1 240 000 to
2. For 316 years with minimal losses, with injury rate smaller than in ice hockey. There´s something stinking in kingdom of bullfighting.

I'm not sure what you're referring to. No swords are not deadly to animals? (Mind you I've been referring to swords in general not any specific type for the length of this discussion.) Or no the Spanish bull is not an impressive animal?
Actually, for a bovid, it´s not particullary impressive. (for spanish bull)
And in this sentence ´No they are not. They are just slaughtering frightened cattle, about which they trying to create aura of dangerousness. And they do it in the rate 1 240 000 to 2. For 316 years with minimal losses, with injury rate smaller than in ice hockey. There´s something stinking in kingdom of bullfighting.´I´m refering to matadors.

Sentence swords are not deadly to animals is... weird. Deadly when they eat it:)?

It depends on animal and it depends on sword. For big animals, swords aren´t particulary dangerous (in general, is big difference between shotel, gladius, odachi...). Let´s say spear is just better - the bigger animal is, the better than sword is spear.

is this really going to deteroriate to people claiming strawmen? really?
Whatever, dude. When someone keeps on trying to refute positions no one actually put forth, calling a straw man is totally fair.

Where is the strawman, Dorothy?

I ask you to explain your opinions, but you never do it.

1.) don´t answer at all. Why? Because you know that only strawmen are on your side and are you too much afraid of me to answer? Why? We´re just discussing on the internet - I´m not going to beat you, or taking your morning cocoa!

You and your "i'm rubber, you're glue" bullfaeces. I quoted your straw man statements. No one ever said anything about matador swords and gladius being the same. No one ever argued for the effectiveness of swords compared to spears. etc.

Except the strawmen in your posts. Which you acknowledged by not answering any of my questions and ignoring pretty much any of my opinions and explanation.
This doesn't make any sense.

My beloved All-Seeing-Evening-Because-Mom-Wouldn´t-Let-You-Awake-At-Night! Welcome and feel like home. I was actually thinking that you deflate in the shadows, where you are crying from embarassment with Spartan and Ceph. But you are here and strong as always!

Ok, I even find that ´straw man´ on the internet, and I must say with grief that you are wrong, as always. Straw man argument is ´A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument.´

I can actually give you pretty clear straw man argument from this discussion.

I post to Spartan, as a restult of his selective ignorance of my source and absolute ignorance of my questions:

Quote:

Yes, its my fault, as I post many times. I actually expect some sort of basic intelligence from people I´m discussing something. Which is actually stupid, as you showed me many times. Thank you!

Now, here is my opinion explained in ways, that even you could (maybe) understand:

´I have no respect for an animal what can kill be killed 1 240 000 times by short spanish guys with swords, yet only managed to kill 2 of that short spanish guys.´

Yet, Spartan embarassingly stupid and apparently missquoting answer was:
Quote:

Yes, its my fault, as I post many times.

You tried to deny what I've said about lions and bears and even claimed I haven't shown you any accounts of other animals dying through a sword when in fact I did so in my very first response to mammuthus (?).
I understand that you tried to save your face, but simply admitting the mistake and moving on instead of this nonsensical debate would have done you better.

See? He misquote me (with stupidity and evidence more offensive than missquoting itself) to ´look´ that I admit mistake in discussion for my arguments. You see in my citation that I´m admiting mistake for my arguments? This is textbook example of strawman. Yes, after Spartan run away as coward when I show him this to his throat, I claim that I win. And I´m. Or you can see you, Spartan, Ceph answer at least one my question about lack of logic in your posts? No, we just run away or completelly ignore it. Like you will do with this explanation.
if you actually read this discussion, you will see that people here /Spartan, Ceph, you/ must ignore my question, my statements, missquoting me and even blatantly lying /like Spartan statement that this article about bull/bear fighting show that Mexican kills bears in arena with ´light sword´ https://yankeebarbareno.com/2012/08/03/gladiator-games-of-bulls-and-bears-a-california-blood-sport-1800s/) to hold opposition in debate with me. And yet, the worst thing you actually find is that I´m lazy to write matador´s sword and wrote sword instead. With explanation of what I mean.

I know that my logic is superior, but that superior? I´m proud at myself:)

Really? ´When majority thinks something must it be true argument?´ :)
I let this without answer. Just for other people to be amused.

Oh, and another textbook strawman is ignoring my explanation of my statement: ´
´I have no respect for an animal what can kill be killed 1 240 000 times by short spanish guys with swords, yet only managed to kill 2 of that short spanish guys.´, which all of you ignore for more than 3 pages of discussion.
Alright clown, understand me. I'm not here to debate you on this, because it's unnecessary. My goal was to bring to your attention that you did not "win" and to check you on your name calling( which really muddied up this thread).

There nothing in your position that I feel demands any response on my part because I have nothing to add to this thread. It is my purpose to moderate. HEAR ME? This is my moderator voice.

unless i make it obvious that I am choosing a position in a debate, think of me as referee. I'm here to keep things civil, prevent flame wars, and monitor content. Please read the forum rules before you respond. This has been a warning.

Ok,
I will follow the forum rules.

I have only one rhetoric question on the end:

How can someone who call missquoting
Quote:

a great job of repeatedly out debating you
call himself a referee?

Is the analogy tripping you up? You were spouting that you had won, and I as an impartial third party informed you that this is not the case and to the contrary you were not doing very well. Then I dropped in a bit about the unnecessary language you were applying to this debate. All perfectly with in the realm of moderation.
