The question was which predator puts itself at most risk catching prey. The human kills the prey, that's ALL he does, he puts himself at no risk, the dogs take ALL of the risk, and indeed more risk than wild predators due to the calibre of the prey they go toe to toe with. Prey wild predators avoid, completely, or at best avoid toe to toe and use ambush. Even with ambush only MAYBE a 500 lbs tiger would target a boar of the calibre of one a 70 lbs dog might. And the dog rushes in for a face to face fight mouth first on said boar. Surely the riskiest action a predator performs, and I believe statistics would prove it.

Like some one said Wild-Canines hunt most dangerous, more than 5 times to their weight!

Big cats rely on surprise and killing bite, Canines lack both still they kill. agro

Canines compensate for those deficiencies by hunting in large numbers and selecting non-prime prey.

Both are ferocious and prey dangerous animals still i favor canines because they are small in size ... As i can kill any dog if they attack me but never have a chance with a leopard forget about other big-cats.
