Jaguars being the "most powerful big cats pound for pound" is a myth....smaller Tiger subspecies are the strongest cats pound for pound. Not only are they stronger, but their more agile with more powerful jaws.

The Sumatrian Tiger has the power of the bigger cats, but the agility of the smaller big cats.

Source? Because that was a pretty big statement without any evidence.

Never the less, the Clouded Leopard would certainly have its saying in this.

Okay...so if a jaguar and a tiger were to be a parity, you say the tiger is the stronger of the two?

I assume the Tiger would be a bit taller at parity, which could be an advantage. At similar height, I certainly favor the Jaguar.

Where's the evidence for this notion?

Can you present anything even remotely credible to support your point of view?

That's not even a proper sentence, nor is it grammatically correct.

This doesn't speak well for your claim about being an expert.

The overwhelming result from robusticity studies posted on this forum is that the Jaguar is "lb 4 lb" the most robust extant feline.
