Why? Because of messing up multiple times larger oponents who try to eat them?

If that first image is anything to go by, I'd say at least 20kg.

More or less, yes. And a vertebrate opponent. And they win all the time, a larva even survived two hours in a frog stomach and after it was puked by the frog it started immediately eating it, like from some voodoo stuff. They are creepy like hell, hope there is some animal that can take them.

Everybody is free to have his/her likes or dislikes, what's your problem? Bias is when you say that a cloud leopard can beat a grizzly bear because you are a cat fan. I just said that I don't like Epomis beetles, that's it. If you like them, feel free to open a thread for Epomis beetle fans.
