Last week me and the rest of my class visited a farm as a sort of field trip (I'm a vet student). Luckily for us, the workers found a roadkilled jaguarundi some hours before, so we witnessed an improvised necropsy. Poor guy (it was a male) was in bad shape, with open fractures and its head, despite looking relatively okay from the outside, was mostly mush and bone fragments inside. It also had a lot of parasitic worms. There were remains of what appeared to be rodents in the stomach. The stench of the whole thing was awful.
