 Rather robust Eastern Cougar here, I'm liking the front limbs.  A Florida Panther/ Puma concolor coryi or Puma concolor couguar (Puma/Cougar subspecies) with a cub, note the adult has faint spots on its back, a black tip, and striped front limbs. Interesting subspecies. Edit: May be a sub-adult actually, I don't know.  Cougar chasing a Coyote. Edited by Vivec, May 18 2013, 01:05 AM.

  The cougars of Vancouver island. This population really interests me, they are very aquatic and live in such a high population density with so many wolves and bears around them, really interests me. Would love to know more about there ecology and interactions with other predators, like wolves and bears. |
