Oh. I understand. And where I live, you don't see much. Much of Canada's true nature, is mostly up north.

Common raccoon, American bison, muskox, wolverine, some domestic dog breeds like retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, domestic cats, wild and domestic goats, rabbits, javelinas.
Far from the usual suspects... :)

I seem to have a particular affinity for North American fauna (maybe because I resided in Canada during my late teen years when my interest in zoology reached its peak) and generally like non-threatening (from a human standpoint) carnivores of relatively docile appearance or herbivores (as they do not immediately remind me of some of the harsher realities when it comes to the natural world - like the life or death struggles between predators and prey).

I definitely have a strong preference for mammals, but also like certain members of other classes of animals (like geese, eagles, condors, crocodiles).

I like most animals except for house cats kept outside houses.
But there are a few animals I prefer for their outlooks, but that list would be to long.

The real question is: what animals DON'T I like????

Anyway some (mabye all) favorites: Carnivorans (not so much cats though), Creodonts, Mesonychids, Hypercarnivorous whales, Bats, Anteaters, Marsupials, Monotremes, Terror Birds, Owls, Raptors, Corvids, Shrikes, Herons, Cranes, Gulls, Ratites, basically all reptiles (I'm lumping synapsids in here), amphibians, arachnids, and myriapods, skates and rays, most sharks, eels and eelike fishes, "primitive" ray-finned fishes, lungfish, pikes (Ha!! Pies!!!!), seahorses, characins, catfishes, placoderms, lots of other fishes that I can't think of right now, many crustaceans, mantids, web-spinners, antlions, snakeflies, butterflies and moths, ants, bees, cephalopods, and probably a bunch more that I can't remember. :P
