Check the update on my blog. http://carnivoraforum.com/blog/main/4033650/?cat=3011 I decided to try making my own reconstruction of Spinosaurus. Let's just see what I'm made of. But after I have finished my whales. I think I found a good color for the blue whale. Check it out. It appears gray but slightly purplish.

I may start a new cetacean size comparison. This time I may make it as separate papers and not a large one. The image has been Photoshopped a little.

I have started a new cetacean size comparison and I am wondering whether I should stick the papers together like on the previous one. |

Not exactly what I would call art, but here is the first paper of my new cetacean comparison. It is still incomplete. D. tropicalis is based on photos I found with common dolphins in Oman. I questioned whether the colors were altered by the lighting but I think they were legit.

Here is the update of the first page of my cetacean size comparison.![]() I made a short break from it to draw SeaWorld San Antonio's orcas. The proportions might be kinda wrong cause I used photos and videos to make them. Also, the form I gave to Kamea and especially Sakari may be kinda outdated. Sakari is already 7 years old, and as orcas grow they get slimmer and more small-headed. ![]() Takara is gonna have another baby this spring, so I will have to update the drawing. I started making my family of orca fictional characters. Here are the first three. Brizon, his son, Mantrid, and a mate of Mantrid, Vlad. All of them are named after villains in Lexx.

Here is the first lineage. There are more to come.![]() First we have Brizon, his son, Mantrid, and Mantrid's queen, Vlad. Mantrid always had a strong rivalry with Brizon that ended after Brizon's recent death. With Vlad by his side, Mantrid can now rule the North Pacific. ![]() The next one is centered around Impactor, one of Mantrid and Vlad's four sons. Impactor was engaged to a whale named Prima, until she was illegaly captured. Prima was later bought by a huge dolphinarium that I will probably design in the future. Impactor's first child is Thalassophoneus, who is kinda like an avatar of myself. Thalassophoneus and his younger sister, Striker, both inherited Impactor's discoloration. In the case of my protagonist the coloration, as you can see, is truly abnormal. Striker has a daughter named Lover (II). Keter, Mantrid and Vlad's youngest but possibly biggest son, is excellent at hunting. His tall dorsal fin is surpassed in height only by that of Thalassophoneus. ![]() The next four characters are based on characters from Disney's Dinosaur. Kron has some short of "sub-pod" of his own that he leads along with Bruton. Neera is Kron's sister. I basically tried to transfer the attributes of the characters from Dinosaur to a killer whale version. I gave Kron a dorsal fin that is leaning a little towards the top, so that he is kinda "not so big as he thinks he is". I also deliberately made Bruton kinda bulky, hunched and with a completely collapsed fin, so he looks kinda ugly and threatening for an orca. ![]() I also made Kron's hypothetical father, Aaron, son of Mantrid and Vlad, from who Kron took authority for some time after his death. ![]() Then we have the oldest one of the four sons, Isambard. He once bred with his own mother giving birth to Lumina and Verona. This incest was pushed even further after Lumina's death, when Verona bred with Vlad himself, leaving to the birth of a calf that died soon. Mantrid, having witnessed his inbred grandson's incest with Vlad, became very aggressive towards him. Verona died soon, although it is unknown if he was directly killed by Mantrid. Isambard is also the father of Bruton. He also once fathered a calf named Fin, born to a mysterious whale named Nord. Fin was born ill and after some time Mantrid killed her. Nord left the pod permanently after that and soon pronounced dead.
