Looks like it, or was scavenged on land. Doesn't look like it's been in the water.

Is it just me, or does the dead hyena have a massive tumour on its back?

The hyena was already dead:
https://www.facebook.com/RE.WildlifePhotography/?fref=photo

Gruesome seen of huge crocodile devouring a hyena carcass in the Sabie rivier in the Kruger National Park.

Apparently the hyena died on rocks close by,reason for death not clear. This huge crocodile then went onto the rocks and claimed the hyena carcass for himself!
Some smaller crocs came closer and help themselves with smaller pieces that came loose from the tossing of the carcass into the water by this huge crocodile.
Soon it was all over when the last part of the hyena.it's leg dissapeared down the crocodile's throat.
As the water calmed down it was hard to believe that this monster croc was lurking down below!

Here is the story of the cheetah:

Adult male spotted hyenas in the Serengeti weigh 40.5–55.0 kg (89–121 lb), while females weigh 44.5–63.9 kg.

Leopard can be larger than adult hyena 40 kg x2 x2,5

Sure, doesn't change the fact this wasn't an adult hyena though.

Any more info on this pic? I didn't think that a zoo would let two different carnivorous species be in the same enclosure, especially when both animals have a known tendency to be hostile towards other felids. On a side note, judging by comparative head size, the cougar would be a good deal heavier than the leopard.
"The story behind this:

Both cats were born not that long ago in Tierpark and are just subadults. The leopards were twins (1,1) and after the male was send to Praha zoo, the sister was becoming more and more shy and introverted, because she was alone.
The cougar is handrared and the only survivor of a litter of three. She could only see other cats through a fence and had some day to learn some real behaviore from a cat of the same age.

The do very well together and slowly the cougar learning to be a cat and the leopard is again happy and playful.
