This is most surprising.

In both cases, the gecko is not out of the size range to be preyed on by the spider/centipede. Did it prevail over them?

Here's one I put on the 'Dire Wolf vs Spotted Hyena' thread:

Okay, I'll admit it, this one is more on the humorous side. And the kicker was that it was two different animal vs animal...if you get the gist. I'll put this on the Meme thread, too.

Although I am inclined to agree about the centipede, that gecko is much too large for the spider to eat. Kukulania hibernalis are not especially aggressive, nor highly venomous, I don't think it is in the capablilties of the species to kill a larger lizard.

Boa constrictor and a coyote in Florida.

Apparently this ended in a draw with both animals disengaging.

James says the coyote was kicking and biting at the snake before the unwelcome slithery friend finally let go, but not before biting the coyote on its hind leg.

The exhausted coyote was able to walk away with a noticeable limp.
Wildebeest attack wild dog, wildebeest weak animal ....
