Selous Mongoose puts up a fight against AWD's before being killed

This white tailed mongoose had better luck.

Looks like two killed animals placed in that position. Both animals look very fresh.
I'm the kind of idiot that would just accept it at face value but when you say that I can see some pretty significant problems that support your theory. The wolf does indeed look very fresh, not like something that was stuck dead on the antlers of a caribou long enough to exhaust it to death. Also it is bleeding profusely from a deep wound right behind the shoulder, exactly where a hunter would shoot it and not where any antler prong appears to have punctured.

Buck vs Ram. Ram defo regretted starting that fight.

Rams only attack with single hits, bucks will lock up and begin trying to push and overpower one another. The ram looked pretty bulky, but clearly didn't have the strength of the deer. It would only win if it got a direct hit on the bucks skull before they engaged.
