That's from the National Geographic series Night Stalkers the Leopard Battleground episode filmed in Sri Lanka's Yala NP.

These thermal images give us an idea of how the leopard would look with a plain coat which I think makes it easier to see musculature.

Yes. Spotted fur does not show muscle very well. Neither does striped. Thats why lions and cougars look to have more impressive arms.

Looks to me that the pattern on clouded leopards evolved from a pseudomelanism.
