Guy Bulme with one of the biggest males at phinda gr(zululand)similar to kruger in size.
No leopard surpass the line of 75 kilograms after one of most extensive and longest research on leopards ever.
To be fair Kurtz they only weighed 4 fully grown males aged 7 years or more. The average weight of the 4 full grown males from Phinda was 72.3kg (range 69-75kg) so there wasn't anything special about Tyson actually, he was just the first 7 year+ male they captured.

The problem with scientific researchers is that their sample size is usually very limited, I doubt any of these researchers has weighed more than 20 adult males (4 years and over). And then the other thing is they are only familiar with the leopards in their study area, they can't really provide much first hand info on the size of leopards in the rest of the world.

hi chui, very correct.
i put a little of emphasis, as i was trying to explain to figantee that a leopard of 70 kilograms is really big close a person.
Surely there are larger specimens that we can find in this type of area not weighed, being 72 kg. only the average.

An animal so full in several countries and so little research about your weight!
In general people just like lions and tigers. few people like jaguars and leopards.
