^ I don't know how formidable you'd consider an anatolian but here's something Link
Antolians are bigger than Bullmastiffs slightly so it's sufficient evidence to my question. Thanks.

It does state they couldn't definitely tell if it was ambushed however but odds are it wouldn't have made much difference. With this breed anyway, Mastiffs are heavier set and have honey badger like skin folds.

I like how the puma couldnt hunt its normal prey so it had to pick the easiest prey to hunt.... a pit bull lol
Wrong, pitbull aren't easier prey infact if you look then pitbull was already old age of 13 years.

Here a pitbull survive a cougar attack after cougar ambushed pitbull, this shows us how game pitbull are,i am not saying cougar cannot kill pitbull but that pitbull survived even an ambush from cougar, if pitbull have not run away from there ofcourse cougar would have killed pitbull.
pit bull is fairly easy.
big cats reportdly killing a 30-50 kg street dogs with a swipe on the head
the cougar is small.
but the pit bull ain't much bigger.

i'd favor wild canines over domestic.
the young leopard killed it quit easly.
grappling and claws were used.
THATS A YOUNG LEOPARD
the cougar in that case is bigger and an adult.
You are wrong if you think pitbull is easier prey, infact pitbull isn't prey to wild predators if they were to actually fight about bigger lsg dogs i do not know with their terrible stamina and durability they will only use their size and try to quickly kill cougar before run out of stamina but that wouldn't work against cougar.

Okay, the pit bull was 50 lbs. Thats tiny. My pitbulls are 80-130 lbs. They would kill that puma. Also, a Tibetan mastiff, Caucasian shapherd, and kangal would kill a healthy puma alone.
Than you do not have bulldog ,because hounds weights 20 lbs to 66lbs.

Yeah I'm not sure why my posts aren't being approved here, but real apbts range from about 35 to 70 lbs, the latter being very rare and only for certain specific lineages on occasion. Size wasn't the issue here, being elderly was, and it's THE greatest handicap.
