I was born in Ivory Coast (a country no one has heard of in west Africa) but my genetics, heritage, and family ties lie in Cameroon (another country in central-west Africa that no one has heard of). I come from a small ethnic group (or tribe I'm not sure the difference) from West Cameroon. Most of my family and relatives immigrated to America.

How do you like it so far??
"Every account of a higher power that I've seen described, of all religions that I've seen, include many statements with regard to the benevolence of that power. When I look at the universe and all the ways the universe wants to kill us, I find it hard to reconcile that with statements of beneficence."

Yes. That's why I'm called superman there. The superman in movies is just a lame rip-off of me.

I'm from London, but I currently live in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a mix of Scottish, Irish, and English with a touch of Japanese four generations ago.

A lot of people are aware of the Ivory Coast. They have a superb football team - one of the superpowers in African football (next to Ghana and Egypt). They are unlucky to always end up in a tough group during the World Cup. WC 2006 they were drawn with Argentina and Holland. WC 2012 they were drawn with Brazil and Portugal. It's a shame because they are one of my favorite teams from Africa, and had they been in any other group in both those World Cups they would have gone far.

Maybe Brazil 2014 will be their chance.

Yes those who watch soccer (or football) are very aware of it but I live in the Deep South in the U.S and a majority of people there don't give a care about soccer. Everyone's a football fan (and I mean American football) so they haven't heard of Ivory Coast or it's soccer achievements. So every time I try to explain my back story to people they get lost when i say Ivory Coast and don't even get me started with how confused they are when I mention Cameroon (they usually mistaken it for Cambodia and some assume I'm Asian even though I look nothing like an Asian).
