That is cool, somehow assumed they wouldn't live in the same areas. A documented interaction would be cool, imagine if a band of chimps attacked a silverback, that would be a fight to see.

great picture, shows how even a small skinny wolf has a build far more impressive then even the biggest coyote. look at the head sizes
