What animals do you think are the best matches for a Giraffe in fights? If so tell. Here are what I think are the best matches for a Giraffe. Gaur Haast's Eagle South American Giant-Short Faced Bear That's all the animals I can think of, which is a good match for the Giraffe. What about you guys? I think a polar bear or kodiak bear is a better match than your short faced bear and even then, I wouldn't count out a giraffe so quickly. How about a sumatran Rhinoceros?

Yeah but the Giraffe outweighs the Kodiak and Polar Bear. So it would be a mismatch in favor of the Gifaffe then. The South American Giant Short-Faced Bear is more around the Giraffe's weight. Also a Sumatran Rhino is a another good match as well. Edited by DinosaurMichael, Apr 28 2012, 09:31 PM.

What conditions were those giraffes in? For all we know. They could of been sick and might of not been fully grown. Edited by DinosaurMichael, Apr 29 2012, 03:00 AM.

If the bear's average weight is 1500-1600kg, i think it's a mismatch. |

How though? The Giraffe would be close to the same size. Edited by DinosaurMichael, Apr 29 2012, 03:00 AM.

How about Europasaurus? The dinosaur's much heavier build may put it in at least the same mass as a giraffe, if not more
