Great find ManEater. Looks like a big battle hardened male.

Some pictures of male leopards from places in Africa from where there are very few photographs of this species.

A male leopard from Senegal which is probably the western most range of sub-saharan leopards.

A male leopard photographed in northern Ghana. I suspect a relatively young adult male judging by the pink nose.

A leopard killed in Angola, looks like a mature male judging by the overall look and developed dewlap.

The ratio head size/body size is amazing for the leopard from Senegal, he have got a big head, he looks like a little jaguar.

A leopard becomes adult at what age? 7 years?

Cade photos of leopards in the forest ??
Male leopards become adults at 3 years old, but!..
They normally become indipendent at this age but not yet territorial!
They normally become territoril at 4-5 yrs old and at this age they change their look and they brain a lot.
At 7 yrs old they are at their peak full mass, experience ..
That's the maximum, they're able to fend for there selves at 1 year, yet remain with the mother for 18-24 months, and establish home ranges at 18 months old.
