Ferae, I seriously doubt black leopards or jaguars are inclined to grow larger than their 'normal' counterparts form the same region. Nor do I believe that is true of white lions and tigers.

I'm not sure about it either, but I've seen, however, pictures where white tigers are substantially larger than their orange counterparts. Also, I've read about size being a compensative for these animals being less camouflaged. I don't see how this statement can make sense in genetically or evolutionarily speaking.
I wish there was more research on felidae intraspecific variation.

I have also thought about the chance of black leopards could be more expert than the spotted.

But nothing is impossible

Video of a big male leopard in Yala, Sri Lanka. Looks like a lioness.

Ivan, the one eyed male from Yala.

Another big male from Yala.

Side view of the same male, very menacing looking head on this guy.

Most of the leopard pictures from Sri Lanka are from Yala NP which lies on the south coast of the island. Here's a photograph of a male leopard from Wilpattu NP which lies further north on the West coast. Though Wilpattu also has a healthy leopard population until recently it wasn't accessible due to the conflict with the Tamil Tigers. Note the big scar under the ear. Possibly from a bite from a rival male, the top of the head is often targeted in intraspecific fights.

Another male leopard killed by poachers in a different part of Sri Lanka. This one is from the central highlands of the country which consist of more dense jungle than coastal areas (Yala and Wilpattu) which are drier.

Well, i would to know what these shit of person will do when these big males will vanish.

Anyway good pic for comparison btwn human and large male leopard
I think that guy would probably have been a match for a lioness! I wonder how the hell is the natural parks' policy, they shouldn't allow exceptional specimens to be hunted! Not that I approve shooting the others, but at least the strongest and biggest specimens would be able topass their genes to the offsprings. F**k, they are ruining everything...
