Damn ManEater, that is a real bruiser! I before posted some males of Nakuru, they are huge.
And the worst thing about it is that I have been there in 2010 and never saw 1 leopard there...Only some huge male lions...

For me this big Kenian leopard look they are on steroids..even their muzzle look more muscled..like a pitbull

Kenyan leopards can definitely be very impressive, especially those from the forest areas. Nakuru National Park is a small protected area next to the Mau forest, the largest forest complex in Kenya which unfortunately hasn't been preserved very well.

Another big burly male from Nakuru. Also notice the very pronounced dewlaps on these big Kenyan leopards.

I've posted these pics before but I think they also belong in this thread. Two big muscular males fighting in a forest reserve in Kenya.

The jaguar in amazon weighs on average 70-85. Leopard While the forest weighs 65 to 70 is still less than the average weight of the Jaguar amazon.

There aren't weights datas for west-african forest leopards figantee.

1977marc: Lucky you were to be at Nakuru.
Kenya is a nice country to see different variety of leopards:

I apologize if these have been posted, but it is never bad to see good info reposted!

Within four days we trapped and darted our first leopard. He was a young male of approximately two-and-a-half years old, weighing a hefty 61 kg. Blood samples were taken to check for viral antibodies and the radio collar was put on. We named him Pp1 (Panthera pardus the first). Within one month we had trapped Pp2, a five-year-old male, Pp3, a two-and-a-half-year-old lactating female and Pp4, a monstrous 69 kg, six-year-old male.http://travelnewsnamibia.com/archives/conservation-magazine/leopards/#.U27Fbk1eEfg

Well, I think is a good comparison this:
57 kilograms leopard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NO-_lMS_Yb0

64 kilograms leopard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GD_VF1Y_wNQ

70 or even more kilos male
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omC39ivsDiI

notice the big difference in chest, neck and even the head in the first step btw 57 and 64 kilos males
