For "only" 65kg, he is really impressive, nice head, and powerfully built, very good Kurtz.

Welcome back "Shaka" the leopard to nThambo Camp, bordering the Kruger National Park. "Shaka" has been missing for six months and was last sighted having an altercation with two hyena. He appeared to have a serious injury to his front leg, probably from an hyena bite. Thinking the worst, this is a special sighting seeing him in such good condition. Another wildlife moment video by Dave Jackson

my opinion least 160 pounds huge!

Some great pics guys of those Namibian leopards. Kurtz, it's funny not too long ago you thought Namibian leopards were unimpressive based on some published weights ;) . This just shows weight data can be misleading if you don't take into account different factors (age, condition, stomach content etc.). Big leopards like these will be found in most parts of Africa if they are properly observed.

I've always thought Namibian leopards were more impressive looking than Kruger leopards. They seem to have meaner looking heads with really pronounced jaw muscles and also beautiful coats with a more shiny gold colouration. Although leopards from hilly regions in Zimbabwe and South Africa have similar coats.

Unfortunately dead, but this Namibian leopard is one of the most impressive males I've seen. Has the stout build and impressive proportions of a lion. One of the several huge males recently hunted in the country.

Namibie leopard indeed look amazing. At Okanjima there was this beautiful 80kg male named Tyson. A real brute.

The bgiggest I know of is this 84 kg hunted leopard

I am a Master Measurer and did measure it several times. The score ended up to be 18 4/16(dry), the body was not that long(7.2 feet), he weighed 185 pounds. Length and weight are irrelevant, because if he had a full stomach, he would have weighed over 200 pounds. Something very interesting I thought, was that his tail had a circumference at the base of 10 inches."

Officially from SCI this cat will be the new # 8 on SCI in all of Africa and will be the new record taken out of Namibia

The human hunters, not the leopards, have primitive brains.
