Great find Marc. Kenya definitely produces some huge leopards and many of the very largest ever recorded have come from this country. Big males from Kenya generally seem very short and stocky with really broad heads. Some skulls recorded from the region are very wide. A prime example is the "Wall Eyed" leopard, a big male that roamed the Mara back in the 1970s. A picture of this male from the book, "Marsh Lions" 1983 by Jonathan Scott.

The Piva male still not in his prime, is a huge male in the Sabi Sands. I think around 75-80 kg. He will grow even bigger but he still has a lot to learn. He lost confidence against a much older and little smaller male The Bycicle crossing male.
