Hey Chui, impressive male, i remember this picture! Quite exciting to see that big male leopards can be find in this kind of not known/famous country without or at least very few datas, even more exciting when you known that there is a lot of melanistic specimens in this kind of place. Maybe there are huge black congo/gabon leopards roaming in west african jungle as well.
That make me think of a black male, you posted some time ago, named zeus who was from Africa (location not specified) and was really big impressive male, black leopards from deep african forests should look like him.

Another good looking melanistic specimen:

Hey Marc, it's from "wild cats of the world"-Luke Hunter, it's writed
"this sri lankan wild boar repelled the leopard's attack, fortunately without injury to the cat."

So why do you post the photo here? This topic is only for photos of big territorial male leopards, not some random skull

Anderson is probably the most impressive male to come out of the Sabi Sands in the past 15 years or so of this reserve's leopard population being extremely well documented. A lot of male leopards are bulky looking beasts but the biggest IMO aren't just short and stocky but have a lion like big frame and skull to go with that bulk and you see this in Anderson.

In other news, yet another leopard wreaks havoc in India. Looks like an adult male.

Leopards can cause terror on humans, really terror.

This leopard was shot at least 1 times cause he let blood on the floor when he ran .

And people have big balls to be so near to the leopard to try shooting darts.

Is funny for me (i dont know why) when the man shot the dart to the leopard, the leopard felt the pain and he turn back to attack the man who shot him.... They are brave (leopards) and dont let anybody hurts them without being attacked after.
