Watch in HD Young lions plays rough with a reporter. Hats off to the guy, he didn't scream like a baby like most people would have , and remained calm even whilst the lions tooth sunk into his leg. |

I've seen that before, and there's something oddly humorous about it all. He should have left after the first initial aggressions. The whole ordeal is very weird. 1:16 in the video - the handler seems to lose control somewhat. That would have been a good time to leave. But the guy does stay surprisingly calm throughout. I guess it was a bad idea to enter a lions cage, lol. I presume that it is a juvenile male lion?

Seriously? What the hell is wrong with these two idiots? Piss off, the Lion obviously is annoyed. So leave it alone. And then the tamer hits the Lion? What the heck is that? |

That's something I wonder about as well, why do the handler let this "visit" continue after the lion showed clear signs of being annoyed. It's obvious from watching the video, so it must be clear as crystal for the handler! I think it's all the fault of the handler, he should never have allowed anyone inside the cage, since he obviously can't control the animal. As soon as the lion shows sign of being annoyed, which happens almost from the start, he should have let the guy out - but obviously he should never have let this whole ordeal happen in the first place. Shame on him. Edited by JaM, Jun 21 2012, 01:49 AM.

Yeah, the trainer should have been more sensible and got out of there. Funny thing is this young lion was playing, and the title says ' Lion mauls reporter'. |

Exactly. I agree with you. And okay, even after he let the reporter in, if the Lion was showing signs of aggression, then leave it alone for a while. I don't understand people sometimes. |

This lion was not aggressive. If it was the men would be dead or maimed. It was simply playing rough. My cat does it with me all the time. |

It bit the reporter and did not let go. Did you see his wounds after he got out? I think that's a little more than playing rough. |

If it was aggressive it would be snarling and growling. And cats do bite when playing, as I have learn't the hard way! |
