Heterotrophic Organism Posts: 360 Group: Members Member #375 Joined: Jun 12, 2012	Male leopard vs wild boar in Sri Lanka. Another warthog kill from South Africa. It's hypothesized that the male leopard's dewlap (loose skin around the neck) which is unique among the big cats may provide protection in intraspecific fights. Looking at the above images it seems it may also do the same when tackling hogs/boars.
