I read somewhere that the fish that spinosaurus preyed on were giant gars and sturgons.

Coeleanths too were preyed upon. Most of these fish reached ten to twenty feet. They all had armor too. Do you think it could prey on a Nile crocodile sized croc of its time?

Yes, most people don't know how formidable Spinosaurus can really be

Modern sawfish are pretty damned tough. Salt water crocs and bull sharks seem to have trouble penetrating their hides.

As for bony fish, fish with heavy, bony scales seem to have been a lot more prevalent in the mesozoic than today, and gars, for example, are seriously tough.

Anothe reason for a strong bite force in spinosaurus. it´s getting ridiculous if T rex fanboys claime it was a weak animal with a jaw that had less than 1t of bite force and that resembled the one of a gharial

If one is interested in Spinosaurus feeding strategy, I would recommen Andrea Cau´s post on it.
