Assuming we use the largest specimen for each insect?

Mantis - 7 inches, 24 grams.
Scorpion - 9 inches, 56 grams.
Tarantula - 12 inches, 170 grams.
Centipede - 13 inches, how many grams?

Regardless, I think the Spider and Centipede would win, the Scorpion would stalemate and the Mantis would loose.
Lose not loose

u mean agianst a foot long corn snke or in a battle royale?
1.) Giant Centipede
2.) Goliath Tarantula
3.) Emperor Scorpion
4.) Preying Mantis
5.) Corn Snake

I revise my opinion after these.

If only snakes didn't have such a poor performance record when competing against similar sized insects.

Regardless, I agree that snakes have a poor record against similar sized arthropods.

This list however, is just on how I'd rank these 5 animals overall (taking everything into the equation).

1.) Giant Centipede
2.) Goliath Tarantula
3.) Emperor Scorpion
4.) Preying Mantis
5.) Corn Snake

Although I feel that 2 & 3 and 4 & 5 are up for debate.

This is how I take all things considered:

Best fighter (normal sizes)

1. Scorpion
2. Centipede
3. Tarantula
4. Mantis

Best fighter (at parity, what really matters)

1. Scorpion
2. Mantis
3. Centipede
4. Tarantula

Best Predator

1. Mantis
2. Centipede
3. Scorpion
4. Tarantula

All Factors Taken in Consideration

1. Scorpion

2. Mantis

3. Centipede

4. Tarantula
