Tyrannosaurus vs Saltasaurus
This would be a straight massacre.
No it would not

Sauropods are given way too little credit...

not when facing larger theropods, there is simply not a sngle reason to favour saltasaurus!

T. rex is heavier, stronger, taller, faster, smarter, and much much better armed.
Saltasaurus stands no change, it's only slightly bigger than Malawisaurus.
T. rex wins 100%

Saltasaurus is more massive, stronger, and intelligence is irrelevant here

I think you're using 10 meters for Saltasaurus, when in reality it was 12 meters long and 7.25-8 tonnes in mass

Saltasaurus' strength is too much for the Tyrannosaurus

How is saltasaurus stronger?

Also at 12 meters it would be alot lower than t.rex, and it did not reach 7-8 tons. T.rex could just easily dispatch the sauropod.

Funny enough a downscale from the published figure for Argentinosaurus (73t, Mazetta et al, 2004) yields only 4,6t, so how do you explain it? Do you think Saltasaurus was at parity nearly twice as massive as Argentinosaurus (at a figure that isn´t conservative btw)
Keep in mind that Argentinosaurus had a proportionally longer neck and possibly tail than the relatively short-necked saltasaur, scaling them to the same length would make the saltasaur more massive

Saltasaurus is heavier, I posted 2 sources for Saltasaurus mass, a 7250 kilogram and an 8 tonne one

I am speaking of a 12 meter Saltasaurus. I think it's about 3000-4000 kg.

Here's Gregory Paul's estimate:

http://gspauldino.com/data.html

2480 kg.

And even if you use 7.25-8 tonnes it's still about the same as an average T. rex.

Sauropod necks are highly pneumatic, it wouldn't weigh much at all.
Saltasaurus has a long tail, not a short one.
Even a 5000 kg Saltasaurus stands no chance against a Tyrannosaurus.

Those sources aren't particularly credible. A 8 tonne Saltosaurus at 12m would result in a grotesque animal form consisting of an immensely obese torso on stout legs that would probably struggle to support it.

Tyrannosaurus vs Saltasaurus
sure that's a fair fight? to me it seems like the already more formidable tyrannosaur would have had a weight advantage to top it all...
No it wouldn't, Saltasaurus was was more massive

Saltasaurus, 7.25 tonnes
Saltasaurus, 8 tonnes
Too bad Rex was 9.5t.
