What are your weights for those two species? The type specimen of Y. shangyouensis had a skull 82 cm (2.7 ft) long, and its total body length was estimated at about 8 m (26 ft).[1] Another specimen, assigned to the new species Y. magnus, was even larger, with a skull length of 1.11 m (3.6 ft).[2] It may have been up to 10.8 m (35.4 ft) long, and weighed as much as 3.4 metric tons (3.7 short tons). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangchuanosaurus Torvosaurus was a very large predator, with an estimated maximum body length of 10 metres (33 ft) and mass of 4–5 tonnes (3.9–4.9 long tons; 4.4–5.5 short tons) for both T. tanneri and T. gurneyi, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torvosaurus |

That's where i would put them, but this doesn't seem like a mismatch imo |

Tyrannotitan v Spinosaurus. Before telling me that this is a mismatch: - Spinosaurus is pretty slim by now. Latest estimates speak about a 6-7 t animal. - Tyrannotitan is very bulky. It was just as heavy, being comparable to MUPCv-ch1. - Spinosaurus is very short (height wise) So Spinosaurus is longer mainly due the tail, but it wasn't too big at all. |
