Because they are the Best !! :D
Umm...Nope...
So why ? On Land and in Water Mammals are the best
Stop that mammal superioty bullsh*t already. Anyway my thought? It was just the mammals time to rule, arthropods, amphibians, reptiles etc already had their time. Now it seems it's the mammals turn to dominate the planet.
Agreed. Once, when the mammals will die out, there will be the birds' turn to rule.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

see, this EXACTLY a reason why mammals have so much bias into them, making them extremely overrated.

They are not dominant. its jsut that at the moment the largest animals are mammals, but that doesn´t equal beign superior. They were naturally a bit at the advantage because as one of the two branches of the crown group amniotes with the other one being adapted for flight they had few compeditors on land. Still we have twice as many dinosaurs today as mammals, and they are just as intelligent and adaptable (even more imo). Give me some examples of mammals being more adaptable than birds...

With the first species on your list on a self-destruction course(if nothing is done), and the others actually LESS adaptable than avians, I can see your bias showing again...

Explain how they are LESS adaptable.

It's true, mammals won't last forever. Neither will reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects, arthropods, mollusks, fish, and other organisms.

If notosuchians survived the kt extinction, they would have taken over mammal niches in the southern hemisphere.
