Congratulations FelinePowah on your receipt of such a courteous response from that sterling example of manners personified, the one and (hopefully) only Fragillimus335.
Why thank you good sir, even though you are not the most pleasant person, or the most emphatic, I would still save you over the dolphins, that is what being sentient is all about.

Not pleasant at all (tho' I would never refer to anyone as sht and only reluctantly as an idiot) but definitely emphatic. If you were to save me rather than the dolphins I would curse you rather than thank you, that is what being compassionate is all about.Totally OT, how about doing a colour rendition of your excellent Three Horned King?
I might, I tend not to color things...mostly because they turn out ugly, and I like pencil sketches better, but I'm glad you like it!
I started making some 3-D reconstructions on my Deviantart page, and they are all colored!

Rashido, I even believe if you were to bump into Ingrid Newkirk one day, she would openly admit that she said something like that, unless she learned to keep her mouth shut about things like that. They truly do value animals over their own kind, even if they're sick children.

To be honest, I personally do not think animals are equal to us because I value my own species more. Yes I know we are animals too. But think about it, other animals don't care about us do they? If a mother rhinoceros saw that a human baby and her own baby was being attacked by a lion, who do think she's going to save? Her own offspring of course. Hopefully someone will save the human baby too. It's not speciesism, it's just that we care about our own species more than others, just like all other animals. It's just something in us humans that hasn't changed since we were just Australopithecus. I'm not saying you shouldn't mind other species. (You should care for them too). I'm saying there's nothing wrong with valuing your own species the most.
It's instinct. Put you in that same situation, now tell me with a straight face you'd save the Rhino over your baby. We are basically equal.
I can't really answer that because well... I'm not a mother. But you're telling me animals have an excuse because it's instinct and we can actually think. In my honest opinion, that's not a very good excuse.
Seriously, would you save something that you put your whole life and endless hours taking care of....or this random thing that's also getting attacked? Exactly.

For those of you who claim animals and humans are equal to you, would you kill a person in order to save 2 flies? Or 2 cockroaches?

Vertebrates are worth more than invertebrates, 100% of all time

I agree with you. However, I don't think I would kill my beloved little cat to save a piece of shit, like a murderer or rapist or a heartless rich exploiter son-of-a-bitch. Or a politically correct liberal btw LOL

Well in the grand scheme of things killing either would make no difference, except you would get arrested for killing the humans.

But i think what it comes down to is that humans do not want to kill or hurt other humans, we get this taught to us at a early age.

As far as I can tell, other than sociopaths(or if you go by the book: People with antisocial personality disorder/narcissistic personality disorder) well functioning humans have some degree of inate compassion towards other people.

Stop beating up strawmen, you're using vermin to try to prove human supremacy...use a decent animal instead...

But I would rather kill an evil person than kill a rat though...

not really i would still feel far worse about killing a person. Also this proves my point you look down on rats and cockroaches, they are animals just like hippoes, sharks, dinosaurs, you and I.
