Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA I like patriotic sounding songs (I am aware that the actual message of the song is more ambiguous and is not necessarily pro-American) and this one makes me think of earlier eras - in particular, it evokes images of cowboys and magnificent American bison roaming the shrubby plains and the prairies. The American bison could be considered one of the national animals of the United States. Survivor - Eye of the Tiger Of course the tiger is the rather obvious choice when it comes to associations, but this song also reminds me of the wolverine and its indomitable spirit. I also imagine lion and tiger fans waging battles on the Internet whenever I hear the lyrics.
