Imagine walking home, minding your own business, and then suddenly hearing this:

How is that squeaking frog intimidating? That's one of the cutest sounds I've ever heard.

I see. And I guess it would still be pretty scary for a rival frog, or a tiny bug. These eyes, at least, are pretty eerie.

Speaking about bugs:

Hissing cockroaches are harmless to people, but their noise would be quite scary in many situations. Imagine waking up with a cockroach hissing right on your face. Good thing they aren't known to infest houses.

When you're walking around at night, and you hear a single coyote vocalizing nearby, followed immediately by many others, that's pretty intimidating. Happened last night to me, I tried to look for them afterwards but i couldn't find them

I should get a recording of the sound my chickens make when I try to move them while they're incubating their eggs

This is probably the scariest sound I've ever heard coming from a dog:

that thing looks like it eats weasels
Terrifying wolves. This snarl is second only to big cats in intimidation. show me a dog that is even close to this intimidating.

Wolverine growls pretty big for a 30lb animal. Scarier then any raccoon or badger

The scariest of all, an angry tiger. Nothing comes close in my books. Although a lions growl is deeper and has more bass, it doesnt have the pure anger and savagery that a tigers growl does.
