That's extremely impressing and even scaring... didn't know they were that fast! Those islands are a dangerous place to take a walk, no mistake... |

Christ those things can move! I had no idea of there speed. Komodos are absolutely fascinating, they are absolute overkill. |

I don't want to sound as if I liked to see deer being gutted, but I really love that video. It demostrates both how fast and explosive Komodo dragons can be, as well as how terribly effective their bite is. |

What an incredible reptile Dragons are. Their surprising power and explosiveness always facinated me. If I had the chance to own one of these wonderful monitor lizards I would cut off an arm and a leg to do so! (Though the ones I own aren't half bad either.. ) I shame I wasn't able to work with these beautiful lizards while I was working at the Toronto Zoo. I was allowed to go near 'em on a few occassions and was even asked by a fellow employee if I would like to touch one, so I guess I can't complain really. Just an amazing animal and hopefully I'll get the chance to watch them and observe them in their natural enviroment. --Manual Silva. |

The dragon in the video is quite slim to be honest, but impressive feat.

Cool video. I'm 100% sure the deer was already bitten previously, hence the diminished reflexes and speed. Probably bitten by the same dragon in an ambush. |
